5 Stars but deserves 10! Update after 2 years: I bought my third Blizzard fan 2 years ago this month and all three continue to work perfectly! They put out a lot of air, are quiet, are very mobile/don’t weigh much at all, and can easily be adjusted remotely from across a large room. The oscillating feature helps to adjust it so the air flow is exactly where you want it. And it’s easy to clean! What’s not to love! Now I just need to contact Holmes since we have lost one of the remotes…it will be worth the price…
Very Cool Fan What a great fan. Even on the low setting, the air flows and circulates very cool throughout my room. It is a nice size and I can easily transport it from room to room if necessary with the handle on top. It even circulates more powerfully than my ceiling fan in my room. The remote control is just an added great convenience, especially when I awake in the middle of the night to turn it down or up. I don’t have to get out of bed. Could it be? An EXCELLENT HOLMES Fan??? I have more than a casual interest in industrial design, and powered-fans and their various designs have been of particular interest to me for a few years. I believe we’re at the tailend of a small renaissance in fan design, one that began approximately 3 years ago at which time there seemed to be an minor explosion of novel designs.
