5 year old niece and what a great idea this is I purchased this as one of the Christmas gifts for my 3.5 year old niece and what a great idea this is. She painted it and put it together Christmas day. She really enjoyed being able to make it her own. Great product for a great price! Nieces loved these! If gave both girls the chance to make their own design, but from the same materials so they wouldn’t fight over who had what colors and stickers. The older niece, 5, was able to put hers together by herself. The younger, 3, needed a little help getting the stick into the star – but hers was also cut with a smaller hole for the stick. The wood was smooth enough not to worry about splinters. Haven’t heard reports from their mom about how well they’ve held up, but it certainly…

Melissa and Doug strikes again! This craft turned out fantastic. My daughter loves it. She’s not quite 4, and I have to admit that she wasn’t quite ready for any craft project that requires precision. I had my doubts how it was going to look! (Bad mommy!) But I spruced it up a little during nap time and it’s adorable! My daughter now spreads fairy blessings all over the house! Read the directions!
