Positive First Impressions Since the reviews for this Daniel Tiger toy were mixed, I wanted to share my review of initial impressions, which are positive. First of all the toy arrived in original packaging which was enclosed in a sealed clear plastic bag (one of the pics posted). Once unwrapped from plastic bag (pic posted), I took a closer look to see that it had the stripes I was expecting from the picture on Amazon, since that was a complaint about the toy that others received- that it was without its tiger stripes…
Not Bad, but Not Perfect We purchased this for our son who loves Daniel Tiger. As far as looks, it’s cute, good quality, and looks like the character. I wish it were a little more plushy and soft, but it’s pretty firm and, while still huggable, it’s not as cuddly as our Disney plush characters. The phrases are easy for our son to trigger by pushing the spot on Daniel Tiger’s paw, but the voice caught me right away as being a little higher in pitch than the character’s voice on TV. I really don’t think my son cares…
For that Tigey Lover My 2 year old is OBSESSED with Daniel Tiger. So we decided to get him a stuffy. The only draw back to this thing is the fact that it makes noise. Having 3 boys I think we have enough noise in our home.
