Better than anticipated! Currently having cancer treatments and really wanted a physical “lion” to keep me focused on “courage”. When the stuffed animal arrived it truly touched my heart! The stuffed animal is made with real lion colors and the eyes look like they are looking at various directions and truly offering blessings! We also have three other cats and they lay by the lion and relax too! I’m 54 and this keeps me focused on positive blessings – more than just courage!

The perfect Aslan! After reading all the other great reviews I ordered this lion for my kids, and none of us were disappointed. Daddy is currently reading the Chronicles of Narnia to them at bedtime and this “Aslan” was the absolute perfect addition. He is very soft, about 44″ long with his tale extended and we have not had any trouble with shedding in the month that he has been hauled in/out of beds and up/down the stairs.

Lion’s mane is too flat. Saw this exact same lion at the gift shop of the Copenhagen Zoo a few months ago. They wanted 400 Kroner (about $60). We liked the lion very much, but wouldn’t have had enough room in our carry on luggage. I took a photo of the UPC tag, so I know this should be the same lion. Although the Amazon lion has the exact same tags as the Copenhagen lion, the two are not the same. The hair that makes up the mane of the Amazon lion must be a finer material.
