Sturdy and Effective Stepper I bought this for my mom since she had surgery and she needed something to provide support to get into the bath tub. I loved it and she did as well. This is sturdy but not heavy, so you can move it easily. It has a side rail that can be detachâ. It has some rubbers in the bottom to provide more stability. Also, on the stepper it has a non-slip material that it is very effective and provides confident.
Perfect solution I love this step! It’s the answer to a prayer. I am “mature”, have had a significant number of orthopedic surgeries on knees and feet, now have collapsing ankles. I refuse to give up my soaking baths – a high point in my week, and although I have upper body strength enough to rise from the tub, getting out was “scary”. I have no grip points in my bathroom so, was leaning on the wall holding onto the door knob (about 1.5 ft outside of the tub, and praying! The ledge on my tub is…
Not what we had hoped for This is not exactly what we needed. The device is simply not stable enough. If you step on the edges of the platform, it is possible that the entire thing will tip over. We almost had that happen when we used it. To use this safely, it seems there is a very small space on which weight must be placed in the center of the platform. Grab bar doesn’t help with this.
