Life saving car seat! Literally! So I have never done a post on any items before. But this time I am obligated too and this is why. My 14 month old daughter was in this car seat in a forward facing position when we got into a car accident. We flipped in our car on a country road in the middle of nowhere. Really hard to tighten into the car Have owned this for a year and here are the good and bad things about this car seat.Positive: its safe, big and works well.Negative: the hooks to secure it to the care are really really really hard to reach to tighten once in place. Our smaller carseat didn’t have this problem, so this is definitely a design issue. My work around is to lay the back seat, back. Then secure the carseat, then move the seat back into place to have it grab to the seat better.
This seat is a life-saver I recently purchased 2 of this particular seat. We were involved in a rear-end collision. The baby who was rear facing in his seat sustained no significant injury. The seat moved about an inch or so from its original position. Keep in mind I was coming to a full stop and we were hit by someone going in excess of 70 MPH without touching the brakes.
