Our products are made from durable and high quality materials to suit your lifestyle. More specifically, our Waffled Cushion is perfect for the treatment of traumatic deep tissue injuries, surgery recovery, and pain management. It features a unique inflatable design that functions as a skin barrier and support, while the flat surface cradles around the body for ease when lifting. More importantly, our Cushion was made to reduce pressure applied to the back, hips, and buttocks, when sitting. So, go ahead and sit pretty, we’ve got your back!
The Cushion also helps to provide comfort in the areas where we spend the majority of our time. Since many hospitals, nursing homes and in homecare organizations often overlook this aspect of care, namely seating applications, given that the focus is typically on bedding. We decided to invest in a product that facilitates comfortable siting, primarily because the average adult generally spends 50 to 70 percent of their time in a seated position. Whether in wheelchairs, day chairs, or other hard surfaces, it’s vital for our customers to have these surfaces covered, in order to aid in seating comfort and prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers and various other conditions.
• Evenly distributes weight across surface
• Durable material prevents leaking air
• Much more comfortable than gel or foam
• Constructed from lightweight material
• Easy to fold and carry around with you
• Helps take the pressure off when sitting
• Fits almost any structure large or small
Happy tush! As we know how “comfortable” airline seats can be back in coach, I primarily decided on this seat cushion for a 9hr + airplane ride primarily because:1) I wanted an inflatable seat so I could pack it away when done and did NOT want “memory foam”2) I loved the 17″ x 17” size of it compared to other inflatables – this seemed to fit most chair pans the best and I wanted coverage!3) and bonus, it came with a little hand pump (but as others wrote, it’s not…
Comfort at last! I have fibromyalgia, so finding comfort can sometimes be a challenge. Pain can get pretty intense when I’m sitting in my recliner. To help lessen the pain, I bought a Med-Air Back Pillo (Pillo is not a typo; it is available on Amazon). It, too, is air-filled. It helps my back a lot, but my legs often hurt when they’re on my chair’s leg rest. I ordered this — the Premium Air Inflatable Seat Cushion — not to be used as a seat cushion, but rather to place it under my legs. It has been a…
It works! I have MS and during the day I sit in my power chair or my lift recliner. I occasionally get pressure sores, but am more prone to thinning break down of skin on my buttocks due to sliding and scoochigng. The cushions recommended by PT’s and OT’s are very expensive and since I don’t have chronic pressure sore problems aren’t covered by Medicare. I did find one cushion that helped, but after 6-9 mos. of use (not even using it all the time) it broke down and did more harm than good. It cost…
