They won’t want to stop playing with it! We bought this for our 4-1/2 year old grandson, and he immediately got on top of it with his trucks and rescue vehicles, making all the engine noises! It lays nice and flat, no smell. I hate to admit this but I spent a ridiculous amount of time picking this specific one out. It’s thinner than I thought but it’s a nice size and he likes it Grandson loves the mat. It’s thinner than I thought but it’s a nice size and he likes it. It came in a timely fashion and is as colorful as it seems. Some of his diggers blend in with the colors so the mat is at a part of his room that we don’t walk on regularly. This is not a small mat they can take anywhere so is excellent for a designated play area but not for taking with you.
