Adorable costume! This costume was great! Fits great over clothes for boy wearing a size 5. Makes it great for cold Halloween night where sweatpants/shirt were needed under costume! Plan to pin the bag as the Velcro is small and won’t hold the strap onto the bag if you put “mail” in it of much weight. Only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is the hat. Long lasting costume Such a great deal for ~$20! We bought this a year ago for Halloween, and our now 4 year old still loves using it to deliver mail around the house. The hat is foam and cheap (as other reviewers have mentioned), but our son doesn’t mind. We bought the medium for our son and I did have to hem the pants and waist a little because he’s on the small size (10th percentile). It’s held up terrifically well over the past year (and some weeks he wore this daily).
Able to be modified Shirt and pants were great. The bag was disappointing as it was much too floppy. It was the same polyester material as the shirt and pants and did not look rigid as pictured. The hat was terrible. It was very small, thin foam that was all wrinkled from packing. I liked the outfit so much, that I used the patch from the bag and made a whole new bag with sturdier fabric. I was delighted to find a new hat at Hobby Lobby that was exactly right and much sturdier. It was tan foam, but with a little…
