The shade works great and I like how it retracts The shade works great and I like how it retracts. The suction on it is aweful. I get a good suction then as driving if I hit a bump the whole thing falls off window. I don’t like hooking to my window with the clip because it prevents the window from going all the way up and seal correctly so I can hear a whistle. Long story short I wouldn’t buy it again.
Arrived damaged Item arrived damaged. One shade had a bent metal part making it difficult to extend and retract. Amazon box was undamaged so it must have been bent before shipment. The one that works is ok.
Not effective for desert region car travels. Wouldn’t buy again. We live in Southern California desert and it just doesn’t cut it. Sure, it somewhat makes the sun less bright but definitely not for our bright and hot region. In addition, the suction sucks (no pun intended). I do like how it has “hooks” and the fact that you can pull down or press the button so it can automatically roll back the screen up when you don’t need it.
