Works for Heel Spur pain, too! I had one of these many years ago for a problem with Plantar Fasciitis that nothing helped. In fact, the shot in the foot my doctor gave me seemed to make it worse. In desperation, I bought what looks like this same splint, and after 2 nights use, I was finally Plantar Fasciitis pain free. Really. I kept the thing for years waiting for another flare-up, finally loaned it to a friend and never saw it again. Btw, it worked for her within a week too.
To soft Its okay, I feel like I can still flex my foot , when its on. I purchased a large, due to my calf being big, so maybe I should have gone to a Medium, however, I had to return one because the top clip would not go around my upper leg. The straps fit well, but my heal comes up during the night. I would not buy this again, its really hard to find a splint that works for me, what works best is taping my foot.
Night splint A whole lot more comfortable to wear while sleeping than splints with the metal coming alongside your leg. I’ve been wearing mine for a wk now and my heel seems to want to migrate up a bit which lessens the angle therefore I’m not quite sure yet but I don’t think it’s as effective as another splint I have used in the past but I am able to keep it on all night and any angle is better than none.
