So happy with these They were much bigger than I expected and are so beautiful. I don’t use them for Jewish rituals, but Im so excited to use these. I knocked off a star because they smell like regular wax candles but other than that I could not be happier. I’m gonna get the natural colored ones too. 🙂
The candles are beautiful but had two problems The candles are beautiful but had two problems, even though my menorah requires slim candles these still had to have their bottoms seated in small folds of tissue in order to remain upright in the holders and they burn down extraordinarily fast, in our first night, they burned through to the tissue creating a plug that had to be prized out before use the second night. Not very nice.
However the box is charming and has a nice quote from Maimonides—who probably did not get his candles … The item is designed in Brooklyn but made in China.
