Roomba quality at much lower price Background: Let me first start by saying that I have owned two Roomba units before this (first a low end Roomba and then a 800 series Roomba that I paid $600 for and broke after two years). Shark doesn’t disappoint I have been shopping around for robotic vacuums for several months but didn’t buy one because a) the Roomba models are expensive and b) many of the other, cheaper brands are unfamiliar to me. I own two regular Shark vacuum cleaners that I’m very happy with, so I was excited to discover they are also in this market at a price point I can accept.
