Bright and easy to install Wow, what a difference 1 light tube is brighter than the 2 fluorescents, will be ordering more. They were easy to install.Here is a photo of 1 LED tube (on right) vs the 2 fluoresents (on Left)
Wow, these lamps are great! I bought eight of these to replace four 8 foot florescent lamps in my garage installed in two fixtures. I bought two new T8 style fixtures from Home Depot. Each fixture can accommodate four T8 lamps. It turns out the base of the new fixtures are the same as the old ones. So I left the base of the old fixtures in place and just used the brackets from the new fixtures that hold the tombstones (lamp holders).
Simple installation. Quality lighting. The installation was simple. I turned off the power, took off the lens and removed the cover from the wires and ballasts. The instructions showed how to identify which type of ballast system was used by following the wires, and what to remove. Basically you just need to get a hot and a neutral to the end of the Hyperikon T8 labelled AC. Included with the lights were a set of labels indicating that the fixture had been converted and that fluorescent tubes were no longer a good idea…
